See AllVilla A 2 storey villa built in the early 1900s, with 4 bedrooms downstairs and 3 bedrooms upstairs, this is not counting the sunrooms on both levels, which there are 3. Due to the age of the property some of the bedrooms have sunrooms which were converted into bedrooms, however both rooms are accessed through the one door. Downstairs the bedrooms are laid out as:Bedroom 1: 1 x king single roomBedroom 2: 1 x 2 king single roomBedroom 3: 1 x king bed room and then a king single bed in the sunroomBedroom 4: 1 x king and then a double bed in sunroom. Upstairs you will find the following:Bedroom 5: 2 x king single and a queen bed in sunroom Bedroom 6: 4 x king single and a king all in one very large roomBedroom 7: 1 x queen bedTotal would sleep 21 people. We require a minimum of 6 people to book our villa. The villa has 2 bathrooms, a large lounge, dining and kitchen. There is also a large mineral pool which holds 6 people just out the back of villa in enclosed separate room.Studio Unit with single pool This self -contained studio unit comes with 1 x queen bed and a king single with kitchenette in the one room, a separate bathroom and a single mineral pool outside on a private deck. Read MoreWelcome to Parakai Geothermal Motel. We are situated in the heart of Parakai, an area which is renowned for its abundance of geothermal water springs. People have been coming to the area for over 130 years,enjoying the health benefits a geothermal soak has to offer.Our mineral water is fed directly from the geothermal springs into your pool, creating a luxurious soak that will nourish the skin and bones.
Our property is unique in that we can offer both a venue option as well as accommodation.
Our accommodation options consist of a mixture of 9 self contained cabins ranging in size from studios to family units.. All our cabins come with their own private mineral pools, situated just outside your unit on a private deck. The property also boasts a 9 bedroom villa, one of the original homesteads in Parakai.We have a nightly accommodation capacity of 30 people in the units, 24 people in the villa, totaling 54 people.
If you are looking for a venue to host an event, the communal spaces in the villa may be suitable. The villa can offer a large lounge, dining room, kitchen, 2 bathrooms, as well as an outdoor space, perfect for a marquee set up. You have the flexibility of doing your own catering on site or using our catering services.
